How can I get free sample of meds?

I have been depressed this weekend because I do not have health insurance to pay for med.

I have bipolar. I don’t feel like doing anything

My doctor did not give me samples.
My med are not available in generic form in the store. I need at least a month supply. I will apply for an assistance program It will time

Unfortunately, too many people are in your same situation. Did you tell your doctor that you could not afford to pay for your medication(s)? He/she might have samples to give you. Also, you might be able to get your medication(s) from your local health dept., or they can direct you to another source. There are charities that will sometimes pay for your medications. I know we have a Catholic charity in my city that will pick up the tab. You have probably seen the ads on TV with Montel Williams for Prescription Assistance Programs? http://www.freemedicinerevolution.com/ Check out the links below for other prescription assistant programs. Do you have a 311 number to call for information? Your city might have a general assistance program also. I hope you are successful in finding a source that can help you get your medication(s). Good luck!

If you want samples from your doctor, sometimes you need to ask for them. If your med is available in generic form there’s a good chance you can get it at Save-mart or Wal-mart for $4.00. Just call and check if it’s on the list. That’s the price without any insurance.

If you have rx’s, you can try the PPARx program. I am not on it, don’t know anything about it, but saw advertisements for it. Sorry, just trying to help. Good luck.
